Jan Letschert

Letschert consultancy was established in 2003 by Jan Letschert after more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, of which 15 years as managing director in the Netherlands and Spain.

Jan Letschert worked for Aventis, Merck Sharp & Dohme, AKZO-Pharma and Solvay-Duphar in senior executive positions as managing director and sr. director business strategy Mid-Europe region for Merck Sharp & Dohme.

Jan has been educated in the Netherlands as well as in the U.S.A. and has master degrees in economics and political science and is multilingual.

Consulting competence

In his professional career he successfully accomplished sales- and budget targets, restructuring programs, merger integrations projects, strategic alliances, licensing in-out, selling out a division (agro), negotiations with authorities and other relevant stakeholders in the environment. All this with a clear focus on profit and growth.
